##  Producing Intelligence 

I've had the same job in every room I've worked in. Music, baseball, a studio — none of it was about me. It was about building the conditions under which someone else could do their best work.

Philosophy made the question formal. Philosophy of art asks what actually produces belief, desire, and emotion in a person. That's a producer's question with citations. Working with synthetic minds is the same job again. The model's capability is fixed — I can't improve it. What I can change is everything around it: what I bring, what we establish, which standards hold when it would be easier to let them slide. The output follows from the conditions, the way it always has.

Underneath all of it is one question I've never stopped asking. Why. Why this system, why this structure, why we've always done it this way. When nobody can give a complete answer, I start taking it apart — but deconstruction by itself is worthless. The point is to build something better out of what you found.
